Just returned from Coronado. Beyond lovely. Inspiring! The sun and sand did our little fam good. Now we want to pack up our belongings and dreams and move to San Diego. Since that ain't gonna happen, I am starting work on a new CD project, Lord willin'. Stay tuned...

It was a wild night. Hubby had a stomach virus and didn't know if he could play guitar...My sister was late so I had to watch the kids till she arrived...I had 15 minutes to get ready. Whew! I was stressed and was applying eye shadow when these words came to mind, All things work together for good to them that love the Lord. I took a deep breath and the said, the show must go on....and it did! Turned out to be a lovely evening...music, family, friends, children dancing...nothing better!

I met Sade in high school. She went with my husband and me to Jamaica on our honeymoon. She has supplied the soundtrack to our marriage. One of our daughter's favorite song's is, Moon and The Sky. This was the first time we have ever seen her live. Stunning! Brilliant! Life-Changing!

On the plane to Vegas I tore out a page in a magazine featuring the coolest animal print pillow...I was inspired! Asked my hubby if he could paint a stylized animal print on the entire wall behind our sofa. He sketched the design with our daughter's chalk and a few hours later we had a transformed room!

Went to our first show at the Woods at Fontanel...beautiful grounds! Steve Martin and his bluegrass band took the stage and rocked the house! Steve is multi-talented! A must see if he comes to your town.

My daughter was smitten by Shakespeare. She was engaged the entire first act. Nashvegas hosts a free series in the summer. It was a great way to spend Labor Day.
