My father has always been my musical hero...home movies of me dancing around a young man rockin' out on his guitar abound. We penned our first tune when I was 3...fast forward... my daughter dances around her grandpa with a grey beard, as he rocks out on the guitar...Happy Birthday, Daddy! You are still my hero. I love you!

Snow in Nashvegas!!! It's true. Not enough to build a snowman but it's beautiful. Great excuse to curl up with a hot cup of tea and watch it fall...

Sang at my dear friend, Cheri's, wedding this weekend in Houston, TX. She chose, Love Must Be Spoken, which is not a "wedding song". I was skeptical but she was right...it rocked. My brother-in-law said the lyrics took on new meaning in a wedding setting...and he cried!!!!!!!!! Success...

The week before NSAI song camp I kept having visions of being forced to re-write my songs till daybreak...in a sleeping bag :-) It turned out to be a positive experience. The lectures/critiques were encouraging and honest. Met some new friends/fellow songwriters that might turn out to be future collaborators.

Celebrated our anniversary in Vegas. Shopping, swimming, dining...awesome time. I'm a fan of the Cirque shows. We saw "KA" this time. It rocked. Still trying to figure out how I got an aerial view from my seat. Dinner at Picasso with the Bellagio fountains. Ahhh...

Went back to "the city" for a vacation. Our little girl's first trip to Cali; San Fran, Monterey, Carmel, Berk etc...  We did a few impromptu "concerts" for family and friends.
