SING!
Apr 1, 2006

I painted SING! instead of writing a new song. It's an uptempo number about living life to the fullest! Go ahead and hum, scream, la-la-la - no words necessary. Don't just sit there...SING!

Failed to Notice, A Novel?
Apr 27, 2006

I inteded to pen a musical, I still do but when I sat down to write it, the beginnings of a novel appeared on my paper. Here's a sample...Myssa left One Horse Town over ten years ago and hadn’t looked back. How could she? Tinseltown had come a callin'. Came right to her front door, didn’t even bother knockin'. She was only 23; with big dreams in her head, and a voice that had to be heard. Before American Idol was “the” way to be discovered, she did in the “old-fashioned way”, the respectable way. She submitted her demo cd to a friend of a friend of a friend who had a great uncle in the music biz. She paid her dues, had 3 number ones, and was this close to winning a Grammy...

Fever

I can't stop painting! I got the fever! And even more cowbell won't cure it. HA!

BGV GIRLS...
May 17, 2006

...not to be confused with BCBG Girls (the design house)! Love to my back-up queens - Angela D. and Suzuki - long, lean lookers with voices that rock!

Bermuda, Baby!
Jun 1, 2006

Bermuda Rocks! The sand is like cashmere...ahh! I have been dreaming of Horseshoe Bay with its turquoise water. All I could do was hum as we drove down the coast...amazing and inspirational!

I love New York
Jun 16, 2006

Had a chance to visit the 911 Memorial while in NYC a few weeks back. I wept. A local artist painted this mural on a building nearby.
