Gracias to Skip at KUVO radio 89.3 FM for playing the original "Dying Day" on Saturday night's broadcast!!! I recorded it in 2001 and people still appreciate it. STORY BEHIND THE SONG: my daddy wrote this love song for my mom ~25 years ago. It was a slow, haunting ballad at that time. I took it off the shelf, added two verses, and a new arrangement and voila!

My sis hosted an American Idol party last night and one of the guests purchased "Flowers" right off the easel. You can see "Nashvegas", which is not for sale, over the mantel. Bittersweet to bid another painting farewell. It will have a great home!

I painted Palmas 2 days after I returned from Puerto Rico...I wonder why :-)

Longing for Puerto Rico.... A week of sun, sand, shopping, and dining (dead spiders rock!) can spoil a girl. It was cool to come back to town and have a gig. Thanks to those who came out to the show! Friends, Family, Fans, Well-wishers, and The Curious: GRACIAS for making the CD release party such a memorable night!  Pardo & Co. had the place bumpin' before I even got on stage. When we got to "Never Change", I wanted to stop time, reverse it or something, knowing it would be over soon. Everything was perfect, didn't want it to end... Highlights:  * JC's cool intro... (without further delaaaaaaaay)! *The impromptu back up dancers stealing the show during, "The Flowers". *The audience suggesting a free cd for Jared. *Daddy saying I knocked his guitar out of tune by "jumping around". *Going crazy on "High Road". *You singing along...
